Keys to Hidden Treasures in Darkness

I painted this painting at a conference in Colorado Springs. I began by splashing yellow and orange colors (God’s glory colors) on the watercolor paper. As I continued painting these colors, I began to see keys forming and painted them. They were dropping from heaven. Some were old ancient keys, some were new keys, and some were old and new together. Some of the keys had words attached to them. Other keys had bands on them from heaven that still remain a secret but are ready to be taken. I saw layers upon layers of keys. When they hit the darkness (where the treasures are hidden), they created a lightning bolt crack in the darkness. They broke open the darkness and let God’s light into that area. Treasures and riches are uncovered and exposed to God’s light. As the darkness was being painted there are different treasures in this darkness. If you look carefully, there are human forms in this darkness….one of God’s greatest treasures! 

Isa. 45:3 
I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the LORD, who call you by your name, am the God of Israel. (NKJ)

Matt. 13:52
Then He said to them, "Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old." (NKJ)

God is going to give us kingdom keys that will unlock the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places. In Daniel 2:22 it says He knows what is in the darkness. There is something about the night (darkness) that He wants to reveal the deep and secret things (treasures). He wants to shine His light on us to reveal these things. I also saw how in the night (darkness) the church has been robbed of its dreams. There are dreams that the Lord wants to give us individually and corporately. It is time for the church to dream again. Not just to have physical dreams but also to have a dream (a strongly desired goal or purpose) (something that fully satisfies a God's wish). Like Martin Luther King "I have a dream". Hope deferred, robbery, unbelief, unworthiness and fear are defeated by the power of the blood of Jesus. There are those who have quit dreaming but will be like Daniel...who in a dream God revealed a strategy (keys) to save a nation and began to be delivered from the Babylonian system. Daniel had a physical dream but also had a dream to see God's chosen people delivered from Babylonia and restored back into God's plan of salvation. (Daniel 2:19)

Dan. 2:21-22 
And He changes the times and the seasons; he removes kings and raises up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.
He reveals deep and secret things; he knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him. (NKJ)

Matt. 16:19
"And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." (NKJ)
