The King’s Way
The Esther Walk
A Watercolor By Lynda Finch

The King’s Way was painted at an Esther Conference in Denver, Colorado. The Lord began to show me how Esther’s walk was the way of the Cross. She had to be willing to lay her life down for the sake of her people. … just as Jesus did. He layed down His life so that we might live.

Rev. 12:11
They overcame by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

In the painting, the focus is her feet. The feet in this painting represent our walk and the Church’s walk with the Lord. I placed an anointing bottle on her heel to signify the anointings and preparations she received from the Lord to walk out her destiny and call. Anointing of myrrh, the water of the Word and becoming a sweet fragrance to the Lord are being pouring out of the bottle onto the path that is her to be her walk. The dove (Holy Spirit) is in the middle of these preparations. The Blood of Jesus is what has layed the foundation for this walk. There is a hidden Crown in her robes that represents the authority and royalty that her (the Church’s) position with the King has granted her access to His love and all His benefits.. Her path is the Cross. The Cross starts out dark (death…..dying to ourselves) and as she walks in the way of the King, it turns lighter and more golden (abundant life and victory). We become more pure and fall deeper in love with the King. . There is a scepter of favor on the Cross. As we die to ourselves and live for Him, we receive God’s favor and destiny for our lives. It is the King’s Way!
