TCHOP opened it's doors on January 1, 1999. On that morning the sunrise that graces the entrance of this website and many of our materials, appeared over the east coast with what looked like a cross or a sword piercing the heavens with fire. TCHOP began as a prayer meeting on Tuesday nights. Hundreds of people per month flowed through the doors of TCHOP, and many came from different churches, and remained faithful to their own church while attending TCHOP on Tuesdays.
In 2004 two hurricanes swept through Stuart Florida destroying two buildings that TCHOP occupied. After moving four times, the congregation grew as small as in the beginning of the ministry. The faithful core group of TCHOP that comprised the church decided to continue meeting under the leadership of Lynne and Tony Barletta. Refusing to give up, knowing that God was with them, TCHOP rented a room at a local church in Palm City and began to rebuild Tuesday nights. On Sunday morning they gathered at Tony's Allstate building in Stuart Florida. Slowly, the congregation experienced restoration, and the Tuesday nights began to gain momentum once again, even though people had to find the meetings in the upstairs room behind the fellowship hall. It became the "upper room" of the outpouring of Holy Spirit. Reports of healing, deliverance and breakthrough as never before began to pour out. Soon, the Lord opened up Leighton Community Center in Palm City, which is currently a temporary home for TCHOP while they raise a building fund.
The TCHOP congregation is a close core group of people who are strong in prophetic gifting. They have a heart for one another, and relationships continue to grow stronger as they meet for prayer, dinners, an outreaches in the community. They are widely networked with many churches, and known for the presence of God in prayer, ministry and breakthrough. TCHOP is also comprised of leaders who are active in marketplace ministry.
