HOPE for the Distressed, Discontented and those in Debt!

I was grabbed by a “suddenly” in scripture this morning, and the Lord impressed me to share it as a timely prophetic word for many…
You are always being prepared for the next kingdom exploit, the next territory, the next challenge, the next responsibility, and the next pinnacle! Everything you pass through is either designed or transformed by God for your good, to create capacity in you for more of him, and greater faith, hope and love! It is not to your detriment that you are called in a state of debt and distress, rather it is to his glory as he takes the weak and disenfranchised ones to teach and write his poetry upon, so that you become a marvelous work of art. HIS creation of joy and completion! In fact, it is the ones who are in the greatest debt that will be placed into the army of the Lord for training and adventures that are designed to build loyalty, faithfulness, courage, heroism, integrity, depth, and crazy as it may seem, you are the ones who will be entrusted with the greatest riches and wealth. The opposite of where you began. God loves to take the negative and turn it into the positive. It is his specialty, and he has branded this work with his signature for centuries. Do not despair if it looks as though everything is closing in on you. This is a signal to join the army of God and simply follow your leader, Jesus into battle and victory. You will come out of each battle with greater authority and capacity for the next one. Be like the war horse that anticipates and runs without fear into challenges, trusting that his rider knows what to do…
The “suddenly” that hit me hard this morning was the story of the men who found David (A type of Jesus) and followed him. Take a look at the state they were in when they began :
“And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.” 1 Samuel 22:2, KJV.
The number 4 in scriptures usually denoted creativity. God has something to work with when we make ourselves available no matter what shape we are in at the time! Four hundred men in debt placed themselves under the authority of David, and he began to captain them, leading them into battle after battle, sometimes just running around in the desert, and at times it looked like they lost everything. To them, they probably did not fully recognize the capacity and change that was going on inside each of them, but it was happening nonetheless. Now here is the topper… when it came time for David to transfer the kingdom over to Solomon, and build the temple. Guess who financed that work? SURPRISE!!!!!!!! The 4 hundred men and their families had taken spoil after spoil in each battle that they fought. They not only became heroes, but they were wealthy heroes who had the character and grace to put that wealth to work for the kingdom. They financed a great deal of the building of the temple. Each battle had wrought a change in them, taken a motley crew of the disqualified, brought about change, and now they were prepared and mighty with a great legacy. They had exchanged who they had been for who David was. SHIFT YOUR PERSPECTIVE and just place yourself under your captain without reserve. SEE each battle as an opportunity for more authority and more capacity. You are being prepared for greatness, and to fund the future!
The greater the battles, the greater the call.
The larger the giants, the harder they fall!
From distress and overwhelming debt,
To mature growth and all your needs met!
His comfort is wrapped around your heart,
At each end, he declares a fresh new start.
No matter what the scene now appears to be,
You are headed directly at your destiny!
Called by his love in whatever condition,
His grace in you, brings all to fruition.
The Voice of the Bride!
We often hear about the voice of the groom, and we understand that this represents the voice of Jesus relating in intimacy to the body of Christ, revealing his goodness. We have been in a prophetic season of recognizing the voice of the groom, and falling passionately in love with him as he sings over us.
A new time is upon us. The voice of the bride will now be heard, and as she rises and responds to the voice of her groom, she begins to sing back! Her voice resounding as a reflection of his love will now ripple through the heavens and on the earth. Outrageous joy comes as her voice is finally released into the harvest. This is what brings healing in the land. Her voice will now be heard.
Rise up, church and release your voice to those who are lost. Be that reflection of his love and speak of his glory. The voice of the bride is now! The harmony and oneness of our voices together is the song of songs. This is the NEW SOUND coming over the land.
Jer 33:11
The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice
of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the LORD.
What is Your Sound?
During our regional monthly gathering in August, Pastor Kieran O’Toole spoke on “What is Your Sound?” What sound does your life sing, day by day, and do others hear that sound? Is your life making a joyous sound? God wants to release a new sound through all of us individually as well as a new corporate sound that breaks open the atmosphere into new realms as this sound rises in the people!
The exposure of the religious spirit, and our willingness to get free of it is revolutionary in terms of releasing this new sound. It is time to break through the barriers of limitations, lack, poverty mindsets and unbelief.
There is a sound resonating in your DNA that was sung as a song of destiny over you, before you were born.
Your cells are singing! IS your life reflecting that wonderful song, or are you in tune with your circumstances? There is nothing like a song to lift the spirit, and no song like the song inside you, placed there by the Father, arising in a way that no one else can duplicate. It is your song, and God loves to hear it!

Prophetic Insight:
August 12, 2007 on Sunday night, HD Discovery Channel showed a program called “The Secrets of Gold”. To my amazement, the prophetic anointing seemed to flow throughout the entire presentation, and the Spirit of the Lord spoke strongly. There is a new dawn coming and a wave of his presence washing forth from the pure gold that is emerging out of the Bride of Christ. Rejoice in the fiery trials that bring this gold to the surface! This gold affects your life, and the whole earth for the kingdom of God .
You will take it into the millennium and all eternity. We will see the glory of the Lord revealed as this gold rises in our lives. We will have riches entrusted to us as this gold is seen. Purity of worship and new sound will come as great character, integrity, faith and love are formed in the face of persecution and trials. A great army of solid gold! It is worth it! It is soooo worth it! Embrace all that God is purifying and raising up in your life right now, and believe for the emergence of this gold for yourself and for others.
A few of the marvelous properties of gold as shared in HD Discovery:
Since the dawn of history, gold has been the most valued form of currency, and has possessed what has been thought of as “magical” or supernatural elements. It has been used in most cultures in worship, and has adorned the world’s greatest temples. Purifying it is a difficult and dangerous process in a crucible, involving repeated firing at 2000 degrees. Once it is 99.9 percent pure, it is then fired again. Upon it’s completion is is only handled with gloves, because it is completely free of impurities. It is prepared and sent out to the ends of the earth.
Without gold, we would not enjoy the technology in computers that we have today. If is literally the one element that keeps our society going. More ounces of gold can be found in a shorter period of time in computers, than in the mines of Africa . Gold is what stops corrosion and rust, and it is the reason that satellites and rockets orbit the earth.
Civilizations rose and fell because of gold, and it is the one element that lasts, threading it’s way through our societies.
The program ended with this statement:
“Gold’s journey never ends!”

It is am amazing thing to gaze up at a giant redwood tree in the state of California . Only God could have made such an awesome forest of greatness. The redwood tree is reflecting the prophetic season we are in of close covenant relationships. The secret of the redwood tree’s longevity, strength and endurance is below the surface. The redwood has no tap root that shoots downward by itself. Instead, this mighty tree shoots outward at the root system, 3 times it’s own height! Intertwining with other redwoods you will find them only in healthy clusters, in groups called “groves”. What a wonderful picture of the church growing as she was intended to grow, woven and intertwined with her brothers and sisters. United she stands in unparalleled majesty, rising in her calling.
Something new is taking place that does not look like church as we know it now. We are being aligned in evenly yoked partnerships with a purpose. Covenant relationships. Opportunity for joining together as never before. Starting with small groups of about 10, whole families, singles and youth are eating together, taking communion together, prophesying and ministering to one another. They are reaching out as the third day church into the community in small clusters that are intertwined and multiplying in “groves”. Then the “groves” are coming together and covering the land as a “forest”. The frustrations of the past season were all a part of his plan as some old things died, and some began to regroup and became realigned. Father has granted permission to do church differently, and the forerunners have already turned the corner, moving into new beginnings. Our willingness to be repositioned, realigned and forged in relationships, shooting out to intertwine with others, will establish us in a way that will be unmovable and strong. We will see the cluster multiply as in the Book of Acts, and the church will enter into 2008, ready for such a breakthrough time as this.

Prophetic Insights from the month of July 2007
The following prophetic words have come from the conference call prayer that our Open Heavens Centers leaders participate in twice weekly:
Access granted into new arenas, new doors and the release of new sound!
Positioning continues to take place in high places of authority. Strategy covered in prayer is now being released over the Iraq war in the inner rooms of the Pentagon. Pray that governmental ears will enlarge to hear the counsel of God as he uses his prophetic agents to brief top officials. Key people are being given tremendous favor and grace to bring change.
Continue to pray for the Middle East …Crucial strategy!
The commerce of Heaven is coming to earth as we pray. New innovative businesses can be pulled from heaven to earth. True kingdom business, even whole commerce centers that network kingdom business to kingdom business. Press in for new start ups and plans!
There is a fresh inheritance coming upon the seed of those who have passed on before us. Even through pain and grief, a legacy with a vast harvest is now upon the seed of the next generation to far surpasses what the fathers have done. The fathers have released multiplication that will be seen in the passion and willingness to go anywhere, give anything and pay any price for the advancement of the kingdom of God .
Look for any reason and any place to sow purposed acts of kindness as seed. Become the extension of the revelation of the kindness of God right now, and be his hands, his feet and his heart for others. Prepare for a new experience of his kindness at every turn!

Recently on 07-07-07, at “The Call” in Nashville TN , national prayer leaders and hundreds of thousands of youth across America joined in praying for our nation. One of the prominent messages was about bringing our prayers before the courts of heaven. Interestingly, our intercessors and leaders have been receiving the same vision and we have been praying “judicial prayers”. Last night, as I was sharing with some friends that I intended to continue to speak on this subject, and that I believed our Daddy and Judge was banging his judge’s gavel down in order to bring certain assignments of the accuser to a final end. That is was time for the accuser to be prosecuted! Just at that moment, we looked up into the heavens at sunset, and gasped as we saw stretched out across the shy, was a cloud shaped like a judges gavel.
I drove to a place where I could get out my camera to photograph it at the angel you see captured above. The photo is not retouched, and seems to be a true sign from God!

Prophetic Insight: A New Era for Women
Tony Barletta released a prophetic word in an OHC meeting this week that brought a great encouragement for women. We have reproduced it in this newsletter. Pass it on!
You may have watched the famous Belmont horse race last Saturday, June 10, 2007. A beautiful 3 year old filly stumbled as she broke out the gate and fell behind the pack. Yet with a tremendous courage, this fine boned delicate yet powerful horse recovered with the encouragement of her jockey, who did not whip her, but urged her on to pass the male field and win with her great heart.
She was the first filly to win in 102 years! The Belmont is the longest, most grueling race of the Triple Crown, and the odds were 9 to 1 against her winning. The picture is clear. There is a new era for women at hand, and we can count this race as a sign from heaven. Not only are women moving fully into their calling and destiny, but the filly’s name is profound in terms of significance and what the Lord is releasing in ministry and the marketplace. “RAGS TO RICHES” came from behind to claim her crown, in her third year. Women, rejoice! Move by faith to run the race, no matter what the setbacks have been. Men,this fullness of women is our blessing too! As they are truly released into who they are, our full identity as the body of Christ is upgraded and completed!
